Santuario de Chimayo

Santuario de Chimayó is a place where people can "walk in the footsteps of Jesus."  Praying along the recently installed relief carvings in stone of the Stations of the Cross make an ideal form of meditation on the Passion of Jesus.  Either on Good Friday participating in the "faith walk", or throughout the Lenten season, persons are invited to walk along the Stations, often called the "Via Crucis," and pray as they walk "in the footsteps of Jesus."  Prayer cards are available for following each station to help in the meditation.
