The Shrine of Chimayo is among the favorite pilgrimage destinations in the United States. Increasing numbers of youth, young adult, parish and school groups include the Shrine of Chimayo as part of their educational and spiritual experiences.

a group of youth from Blessed Sacrament Catholic School in Denver, who made the Shrine of Chimayo

an important stage of their three-day Spring Retreat, which also included a viewing of "The Way," a feature film about several people´s pilgrimage to the Shrine Santiago de Compostela, Spain.

The second photo is of a group of young adults who belong to the missionary organization Christ in the City and who are dedicating this year to serving Denver homeless. Theirs was a 50-mile walking pilgrimage from Taos Pueblo to the Santuario. They are shown holding the certificates authenticating their pilgrimage.

El Santuario de Chimayo es un destino de peregrinación en los Estados Unidos. También grupos de escolares, jóvenes, 

adultos, incluyen el Santuario de Chimayo como una etapa de su forma-ción humana y espiritual.

La foto de la izquierda (cliquea en ella para agrandarla) muestra el grupo juvenil de la Escuela del Santísimo Sa-cramento de Denver, que escogió el Santuario de Chimayo como lugar preferente de sus tres días de retiro espiritual. El retiro incluyó el visionado de la película "El Camino", basada en la peregrinación de varias personas a Santiago de Compostela, en España.

La foto de la izquierda muestra a un grupo de jóvenes de la Comunidad Misionera Cristo en la Ciudad, que ha dedicó el 2016 a servir a las personas sin hogar de la ciudad de Den-ver. Su peregrinación consistió en recorrer las 50 millas que separan Taos Pueblo del Santuario de Chimayo. Sos-tienen el Certificado Oficial del Santuario como recorda-torio de esta experiencia.
