Santo Niño Portal es un lugar de oración y meditación.
Situado junto a la Capilla del Santo Niño de Atocha,
las imágenes religiosas recuerdan la infancia de Jesús
y la espiritualidad de la humildad y la sencillez: Zacarías
e Isabel, san Francisco de Asís, Santa Teresita del Niño Jesús,
los reyes magos Melchor, Gaspar y Baltasar.
POLICIES REGARDING ADMINISTRATION OF SACRAMENTS
AT SANTUARIO DE CHIMAYO

In Consultation with the Office of the Archbishop of Santa Fe concerning the administration of Sacraments at Santuario de Chimayo, the following policies are in effect:
​
Concerning the Anointing of the Sick, when requested by a pilgrim or other visitor, including those from parishes within the Archdiocese of Santa Fe, they are to be informed that, in order to avoid misunderstandings and confusion,
​
1) The Anointing of the Sick is to be administered at one´s parish unless one is dying.
2) The same applies to the Sacrament of Baptism and Confirmation.
​
EUCHARIST and PENANCE are allowed, even encouraged, at Santuario de Chimayo.
​
WEDDINGS are permitted at the Santuario.
CELEBRACIÓN DE LOS SACRAMENTOS
EN EL SANTUARIO DE CHIMAYO

Información de la Oficina del Arzobispo de Santa Fe sobre la celebración de los sacramentos en el Santuario de Chimayo:
​
Cuando un peregrino o visitante pide la Unción de los Enfermos en el Santuario de Chimayo, se le debe informar que este sacramento se ha de pedir en la parroquia a la que esta persona pertenece, a no ser que se produzca una emergencia y la persona pueda morir en ese momento.
​
Lo mismo se aplica al Sacramento del Bautismo y de la Confirmación.
​
El Sacramento de la Eucaristía y de la Penitencia, no solamente están permitidos en el Santuario de Chimayo, sino que se recomiendan al peregrino y al visitante que participe en ellos.
​
BODAS están permitidas en el Santuario de Chimayo.
