Thank you for partnering with us in sharing the peace, history, and spirit of El Santuario with visitors from around the world. We welcome all who come seeking prayer, reflection, and a deeper connection to this sacred place.

 

A Sacred Place of Prayer

Please remind your guests that El Santuario de Chimayó is an active Catholic shrine and, first and foremost, a place of prayer and pilgrimage. Throughout the day, visitors may encounter individuals and families praying, worshipping, or quietly reflecting in our chapels and throughout the grounds. We kindly ask all visitors to enter the chapels with the quiet and reverence appropriate to a sacred space. Photography and conversation are not permitted inside the chapels. Visitors are welcome to take photographs and converse respectfully while outdoors on the grounds.

 

Tour Permission

Tour operators and travel agencies planning to bring groups into the places of worship are asked to complete a Tour Permission Form prior to their visit.
