Sacraments

Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) and Blessings take place from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

CONFESSIONS AND BLESSINGS:

There is a priest available daily from 9:30 am to 12:00 noon and from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm. Be informed that the priest also visits the homebound and responds to hospital emergencies so there may be changes to regular hours.​

Confession by appointment: Send an email to holychimayo@gmail.com with details of the day and hour that you'll be at Santuario de Chimayo for confession.

ANNOINTING OF THE SICK:

POLICIES REGARDING ADMINISTRATION OF SACRAMENTS AT EL SANTUARIO DE CHIMAYÓ:

In Consultation with the Office of the Archbishop of Santa Fe concerning the administration of Sacraments at Santuario de Chimayó, the following policies are in effect:​

EUCHARIST and PENANCE are allowed, even encouraged, at El Santuario de Chimayó. 

 

WEDDINGS are permitted at the Santuario.
